One of my favorite things about being a maternity photographer in Davidson, NC is taking advantage of beautiful sunset light in the fall! It’s truly beautiful this time of year, and we are so blessed to have space to enjoy it. Every scene from this session with the Thompson family was light-filled and full of joy. 

I was so thrilled to catch up with this sweet family again to celebrate the arrival of their second baby. I’ve been photographing them since their pregnancy announcement for the soon-to-be big brother in 2019. This time, I met the Thompsons at Abersham Park just before sunset to document this new season of growth – another beautiful reason to give thanks during this holiday season.

An Extra Special Addition

During our wardrobe appointment, we finalized details for everyone, eliminating any stress that comes with what to wear. For Mom, we chose this beautiful mauve dress and coordinating cream shirts for the boys. While in the studio, Mom also fell in love with a sample album and knew it was the perfect fit for their growing family!

This will be the first of four sessions with the Thompsons since they’re part of my Belly to Baby membership. Our plan is to build an album with all four of their sessions – starting with this one. Mom and dad chose seven images from their maternity session to start an album of their very own.

Soon we will add images from their newborn session. I can’t wait to share a peek with you here soon!
