One of the things I love most about being a newborn photographer in Charlotte NC is getting to see families grow! It’s such a beautiful experience watching the little babies I once photographed as newborns become the older sibling. This sweet boy is Mia’s little brother. She adores her baby brother and he has the best big sister to look up to!

Beckett’s Newborn Session

For Beckett’s newborn session, we decided to keep the focus mostly on him. Beckett slept through his entire session and was such a snuggle bug. He loved being swaddled up and cozy. We even managed to get a photo of big sister giving him a kiss- an image I know will be treasured by them all!

Some of my favorite images from this session are of Beckett’s precious, tiny details. There’s something so sweet about those first few weeks with a newborn, and documenting their tiny essence through photographs is essential. It’s those little details that change so fast that you never want to forget.

After your session, I love being able to help you decide how what to do with your portraits. Seeing your images on a screen is so much different than holding them in your hands as tangible artwork. Whether you choose to frame them for a gallery wall or have them bound in an album, they’re sure to become some of your most treasured belongings.

For this sweet family, we’ve now created two beautiful matted albums- one from each baby’s newborn session. Now, they each have an album to look through as they get older to celebrate how much they’ve grown!
