Part of my job as a maternity photographer in Denver NC is scouting new locations for sessions. Any photographer will tell you, having a curated list of locations is a great way to ensure variety. It’s also a great way to make sure your experience is one worth raving about! With access to so many unique and beautiful spots in the area, it’s no surprise this sweet family wanted to mix it up for their second maternity session.
The Connor Family Round Two
This was the Connor family’s second maternity session with me and I was so excited to spend another beautiful day photographing them. For big brother Wyatt’s maternity session we chose the stunning Biltmore Estate. This time, mom wanted something a little more rustic. We opted for beautiful Murray Mills which was the perfect setting for a laid-back experience. They even brought their precious fur baby for this session!
Wyatt is such a little gardener and had the best time picking “flowers” for his mama. It was so sweet seeing them together in these last few weeks of him being their only baby. There’s something so special about the bond between mamas and their little boys, and I love that they’ll have these memories documented forever.
The Details
Having worked together before, the Connors had a really great foundation for planning for their session. During our wardrobe consultation, Mom chose two dresses for herself that would work well with their location choice. For her first look, she chose a beautiful mauve option and a long flowing white dress for the second. For Wyatt, we chose an adorable cream-colored T-shirt and classic khaki shorts. Dad kept it simple with a white shirt and khakis. I love how everything came together for them, and I can’t wait to see them soon for whatever their next adventure brings!
