Sometimes being a Denver NC Milestone Photographer means having to think quickly on your feet. At times, this beautiful job and problem solving go hand in hand when it comes to tricky lighting situations. Or having to make decisions and reroute without a lot of time to do so. It doesn’t happen often that a location change presents itself during a session, but I’m so grateful for clients who are up for going with the flow when needed. 

I loved that this sweet family was up for a quick location change just before our session. With the sun quickly setting, we made the most of our time together at a lovely spot overlooking the lake. The fall foliage ended up being the perfect backdrop for the autumn feel of their session. Sometimes going with your gut brings unexpected moments where things work out better than you originally planned! 

Zachary’s Six Month Milestone

Zachary was such a sweet, cuddly baby for his six-month milestone session and gave so many sweet smiles. I feel like it was just yesterday I was photographing his newborn session and I can’t believe how much he’s grown since then. He’s quickly transformed from a sleepy, swaddled baby to a thriving and joyous little guy. 

This little one is a Belly to Baby member which means I’ll be seeing him again very soon for his next session! Soon he will be walking and on the move, and I’m so thrilled to continue watching him grow over the next few months. There’s nothing sweeter than celebrating these babies through the many milestones. They’re only this tiny for such a short time and making sure we document each phase is my favorite part of getting to know these sweet families!
