As a Denver NC newborn baby photographer, it’s such a treat to be able to serve families so close to home. Marisa and Adam happen to be my neighbors, so helping them celebrate the arrival of their first baby, Zachary, is even more special. I had the joy of working with Marisa when she planned a surprise maternity session as a gift for Adam. 

Zachary is the most adorable little guy. He was so snuggly and slept through most of his studio newborn session. He loved being swaddled in some of my favorite wraps. I still can’t get over how darling he looks in the Moses basket. The Moses basket and textured swaddles are great ways to bring variety without using loud colors and props.

Welcoming a new baby is such an important time in your family’s lives. I truly believe your experience should be full of soulful simplicity & authentic connection. Keeping things neutral with props and colors ensures these sweet moments are documented in a simple, beautiful way. It allows for the focus to be on your family and for those tiny little details of your baby to shine through. 

I couldn’t be happier for these two and the arrival of their long-awaited little bundle. Mama has a soft spot for black and white photography, so we made sure to include a handful in her gallery.
