As a Charlotte newborn and family photographer, one of my very favorite ways to honor your beautiful new portraits is with our heirloom albums. There are so many reasons to love these bound treasures so I wanted to share a few of my favorites.

A Space Saver

Albums are great for families with limited wall space. They’re a wonderful option for enjoying your images without needing to rearrange your home. With an album, you’ll have a beautiful, compact collection to fit on your favorite bookshelf or to pair with your favorite coffee table books.

Having a Hard Time Making a Selection?

I love that albums hold more images than a gallery wall, too. I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for gallery walls but albums allow us to add more images. With an album, you won’t have to be quite as deliberate with narrowing down images. While you’ll still want to be concise and think about the overall design, albums give us a little more wiggle room. That means more of your cherished images in one place!

The Bigger Picture

In choosing an album we can design through your baby’s first year. This option is very popular with families in my Belly-to-Baby membership. After the one-year mark, we can even build an annual family album so you’ll have a library of memories to cherish as your little ones grow.

Some families even add on a smaller version of the album to gift to grandparents or as a keepsake for their children. Can you imagine how special it will be to have these memories to pass down to your children one day? 

The Special Details

Our heirloom albums are all handcrafted with the finest paper and archival ink, making them stand the test of time! Covers come in lux linen or leather, including vegan options, and come with lay flat or matted options. Each album includes custom artwork which makes them even more special and includes a minimum of 20 thick pages that don’t bend. Your heirloom album is also guaranteed for life against fading or breaking.
