As a Charlotte Baby Photographer, I love that I get to watch these sweet babies grow! It’s even more special when they’re part of the Belly to Baby membership because it means I get to see their little personalities flourish over the first full year of their precious lives. It’s such an honor being part of the excitement and documenting all of their new achievements and skills!

A Special Guest

Sometimes things get even more fun and I get the chance to have two little loves to photograph! The only thing sweeter than celebrating your baby’s six-month milestone with a portrait session is celebrating big brother, too!

I was so excited that mom and dad wanted to include big brother Weller in Olivia’s milestone session. This was her sitting session (usually done right around 6 months) which happened to be around the same time Weller was turning two! You have a lot of energy when you’re two so it was so fun seeing them play together in between portraits.

He wasn’t nearly as interested in having his picture taken as his sister, but we still got super sweet images of him that reflect his true personality – wild and carefree! He loved running through the park and snuggling with mom.

The Details

I loved mom’s wardrobe picks for this warmer than usual winter afternoon. We met at Marvin Efird Park, in Charlotte after mom finished up in the studio with hair and makeup. Olivia wore the sweetest ruffled peter pan top with floral bloomers that matched her purple bow. How darling are her chunky little legs with her knee-high socks? I loved her pale blue sweater at the end of our session too!  I loved Mom’s sweater set and it was the perfect cozy neutral to pull everyone’s look together!

These sweet portraits will soon be added to an album for Oliva. When she turns one, she will have a completed set of beautiful albums for her family to cherish and one day give to her. I’m so excited to see this sweet family again in a few short months for Olivia’s next milestone.
