Being a baby photographer in Charlotte means getting to meet some of the newest and sweetest North Carolina residents before anyone else! Not long from now, they’ll be toddling around Beatty’s Ford Park or kicking a soccer ball down the sidewalk. But, for a brief moment, they’ll be tiny enough to swaddle and keep cradled in the crook of your arm.
As a mama, I know how fast time can go, even when the days seem to stretch on forever. It’s why preserving these fleeting, tiny moments for you to hold forever is such a huge piece of my heart!
Graham’s Newborn Session
Graham and his precious family met me at the studio recently for his newborn session. While mom was sitting for hair and makeup, we got started with his close-ups. He was one of the snuggliest babies I’ve had in the studio in a while and slept his way through most of his session – with the occasional adorable stretch. He was much sleepier than big sister Greer, who was awake during most of her session back in 2020. It’s been so fun seeing her become a big sister and I can’t believe how much they favor each other!
A Few Extra Details
Mama and I pulled from the client wardrobe for Graham’s session. She chose a beautiful white dress for herself and a blue dress for big sister to compliment Dad’s shirt. Adding a touch of blue was a fun way to pull in a bit of color for baby brother! For Graham, we kept things simple and sweet with neutral wraps and swaddles in darker hues to balance all the lighter colors. He absolutely loved being swaddled and was such a treat to have in the studio. I can hardly wait to have them back in the studio again for their next session!
